Every part of the Free-Roam Sanctuary Area has been thoughtfully designed to encourage the behaviors that make cats happiest and healthiest.

One of the most unique features of Heritage Preserve is the carefully managed companionship between our resident cats and Nigerian Dwarf goats.

Raised together in a secure environment, these gentle animals often share the same peaceful spaces, creating an atmosphere unlike any traditional animal sanctuary.

Visitors are often surprised to discover just how naturally curiosity, respect, and companionship can develop between different species. 

Life at Healing Paws is about more than providing food and shelter.

Daily enrichment encourages physical activity, mental stimulation, and confidence through climbing structures, shaded resting areas, toys, interactive play, natural scents, and ever-changing environments that keep life interesting for every resident.

Several of the property's original pecan trees continue to provide shade just as they have for generations.

Long before Healing Paws existed, these trees watched the history of Wetumka unfold. Today they provide cool resting places for the sanctuary's newest residents, connecting the past with the future in a way few places can.
