Healing Paws Cat Sanctuary began with one tiny kitten who proved that every life is worth fighting for. Today, that same belief continues to guide us as we look toward the future.

Our vision reaches far beyond providing a safe haven for cats. We are creating a place where compassion, history, education, and community come together to make a lasting difference—for both animals and the people who care about them.

We envision a sanctuary where rescued cats can live safely and comfortably for the rest of their lives in an enriching environment designed to meet their physical, emotional, and medical needs. Spacious free-roam areas, peaceful resting places beneath mature trees ... allowing cats to climb, explore, play, and simply enjoy life in a safe, natural environment. Thoughtfully designed habitats will allow every resident the opportunity to simply enjoy being a cat.

  Our vision also includes dedicated kennel facilities, bio secure medical care areas, and thoughtfully designed spaces for cats with specialized medical needs, including separate enrichment areas for FeLV and FIV positive residents. Every cat deserves exceptional care while ensuring the health and safety of every animal entrusted to us. This will allow us to safely care for animals requiring medical treatment, rehabilitation, quarantine, or specialized long-term care while protecting the health and well-being of every resident in our sanctuary. These facilities will ensure that compassion is always matched with responsible, high-quality care.

We see a beautifully restored 1927 farmhouse serving as the heart of our campus—welcoming visitors, volunteers, and supporters while preserving an important piece of Oklahoma history for future generations.

We envision a low-cost spay and neuter and vaccination clinic that helps reduce pet overpopulation, improves animal welfare, and provides affordable veterinary services for families throughout our community.

Our dream extends beyond animal care. We see educational gardens, walking paths, children's discovery activities, volunteer opportunities, community events, and peaceful memorial spaces where families can honor the beloved companions who have touched their lives.

 While our vision continues to grow, one thing will never change. Cats will always remain at the heart of Healing Paws Cat Sanctuary. Every new project, every restored building, every educational program, and every future dream exists for one simple purpose—to create a better world for the animals who inspire everything we do. 

We are committed to preserving not only the lives of the animals entrusted to our care, but also the history of the remarkable property they now call home. By restoring the historic farmhouse, researching the stories of those who lived here before us, and sharing that history with future generations, we hope to preserve a legacy that extends far beyond our own lifetime.

Every tree we plant, every building we restore, every program we develop, every volunteer who joins our mission, and every cat we rescue brings us one step closer to that vision.
