The SanctuRY'S VISION

All kittens and cats that come to the sanctuary are given a full exam on arrival then moved to the appropriate area to begin their new life here at the sanctuary.

Our maternity/nursery room is set up so expectant momma kitties have a safe quite place to give birth and care for their babies. The nursery also allows for mommas and their babies that are old enough to interact with others to socialize.

Once our new residents are examined if they are found to be healthy, they are moved into the quarantine room where they will stay for two weeks. This allows them time to show any symptoms of any illnesses they may have when they arrive to us as not all show signs on intake. Some illnesses can take up too two weeks for symptoms to arise.

Any kitten or cat that comes to the sanctuary and are exhibiting signs or symptoms of illness are moved into our hospital room. Here they are given the treatment(s) needed to get better. 

Our transition room is the last room our residents stay in before they are allowed to roam the sanctuaries 3.5 acres. Here they stay up to thirty days as they recoup from their spay/neuter surgery while also learning their new surroundings. This room also houses our kitties that have illnesses or disabilities that make it dangerous for them to venture outside.

Here at the sanctuary, we even have an area for kitties that have Feline Leukemia and Aids viruses (the staff quarters currently). Both of these viruses can be contagious to other kitties so it's VERY important to keep them separate from other cats.

Here at the sanctuary, we have 3.5 acres that our resident kitties can free roam. The sanctuary is set up with designated no climb fenced in areas so they can wonder the property without fear of predators or traffic.
