This facility is part of the Heritage Preserve Expansion Project. Building features, services, and fundraising opportunities will continue to evolve as planning and construction move forward. 

Because protecting the health of our permanent sanctuary residents is one of our highest priorities, the Medical Center will include a dedicated feline biosecurity and isolation area.

This separate space is designed for newly admitted cats requiring medical evaluation, diagnostic testing, treatment, or observation before safely entering the sanctuary population. It will also provide a quiet environment for cats recovering from illness while minimizing the risk of disease transmission.

Every cat will receive individualized care in a calm, low-stress setting while helping ensure the continued health and safety of every resident at Healing Paws Cat Sanctuary.

One sick animal can unintentionally expose dozens of healthy residents to illness.
